The External Affairs Department today confirmed the arrangements for the seven representations the Velocity Interoperability Network will maintain beyond its boundaries. Three permanent representations, two liaison offices and two delegations will open in sequence between Monday 14 September and Monday 2 November 2026.

Permanent representations will be accredited to the Meridian Transit Authority, the Coastal Data Consortium and the Open Protocols Assembly. Liaison offices will be opened at the Northern Interchange Board and the Harbour Clearing Union, and delegations will be sent to the Continental Registry Union and the Southern Freight Alliance. Each representation will carry the Network's business with the body to which it is accredited, report on matters affecting the Network, and provide consular assistance to citizens of the Network in the area it covers.

Correspondence with a representation is addressed to the Department, which forwards it to the representation concerned. The classes of representation, the bodies to which each is accredited and the opening dates are set out on the Representations page of this site.
